Boiler Service Engineer

Carrier is currently recruiting for a Boiler Service Engineer based in the Walsall depot.
Carrier Rental Systems (part of the global Carrier Corporation) operate throughout the UK and across the rest of the world, providing a range of market leading, specialist temperature control rental products to a variety of clients and industries.
What will you be doing?
- Repair, service and maintenance of gas and oil fired boilers up to and including 1200kw.
- Carrying out end of hire condition checks on all returned Boilers - Gas or Oil.
- Carry out, in a timely manner, necessary repairs and maintenance to ensure the equipment is made available for hire.
- Maintain boilers to the required standard and to current legislation where applicable.
- Making sure all Gas Fired Units are maintained and checked to meet current GAS Safe regulations.

What we’re looking for:
- Gas Safe qualified candidates.
- Experience in the repair and maintenance of Oil/Gas Boilers up to and including a minimum of 500kw capacity.
- Good communication skills - verbal and written.
- Time management and organisational skills.
- Good problem solver.
- Someone who is not afraid to get stuck in.
