London’s Kings’ College Hospital required a temporary heating solution during planned maintenance work on its boiler, in a project lasting eight weeks.
What Did We Do?
Carrier Rental Systems provided a temporary hire boiler to enable the hospital to continue operating, while the contractor carried out the refurbishment work on the existing boiler over a two-month period.
How Did We Do It?
Greg Joyce, CRS regional sales manager for London, carried out a full site survey, and advised the customer on what size boiler would be required, how the hire system would be connected to the existing system, and identified a suitable location at the rear of the building to position the hire boiler.

The Results
Our customer was very pleased with the hire solution, which enabled work to proceed on refurbishing the existing boiler while the hospital continued to operate and provide a normal service to patients.
